Peter Quinn
Director of Media
Peter has programmed and presented for both
British and international radio stations since the ‘80s,
including Radio Caroline, Malta’s Island
Sound and numerous commercial radio stations in
the UK such as Southern FM Brighton, Trent
FM Nottingham and Swansea
Sound Wales. His eclectic
musical tastes embrace everything from hard rock to
country - which explains how, in the late ‘90s,
he was able to move from a position as Programme Controller
of London’s
Country 1035AM to Programme Manager and presenter
for
EKR, the ‘European Klassic Rock’ station.
Peter provides the expertise needed for the development
of a number of exciting new multimedia projects for
the 80s Empire. |
|
In the summer of 2005, Peter and Huw embarked upon a cooperative
venture which combines their Internet publishing and broadcasting
skills to create a unique online multimedia resource dedicated
to the music and lifestyle of the 1980s. Welcome to The
80s Empire.
