+ 11 - 4 | § ¶Fantastic Adventures of Adam Ant!

And, while on the subject of Adam Ant (see my previous post on Adam's videos), I was delighted to discover another rare Adam treasure on the Web. A cartoon adventure story from Tops comic of 16th January 1982. You can read six big, wonderful colour pages on the site of the Ant Liberation Front. Go to Episode One and Episode Two. Truly wonderful stuff!
+ 8 - 4 | § ¶Send Us Your 80s Trivia!
We're looking for all kinds of '80s Trivia to add to The 80s Empire. Do you have any old magazines, sweet papers, badges or calendars from the 80s? If so, maybe you could take a photo or a scan of them and mail it to us? We'll give you a credit and, who knows, your bit of trivia may become the next Internet Cult sensation (not very likely, it's true - but then they said that about the toast that looked like the Virgin Mary, so you never know).
We are also looking for memories of '80s Styles. What were you wearing in the '80s? Spandau Ballet kilts? Adam Ant frilly shirts? JoBoxers boots and braces? Write and tell us - or better still, send us a picture! Go on, we need your help to keep the '80s alive... ![]()
+ 7 - 6 | § ¶Adam Ant Rides Again
They really don't make videos like that anymore. Two ugly sisters, a stuffed pussy, Marco playing a harp and the very fabulous Diana Dors as the Fairy Godmother! Yes, this could only be Adam and the Ants' Prince Charming (well, as the man says, "ridicule is nothing to be scared of.")

The Prince Charming vid includes Adam as highwayman (again)
I'd forgotten just how wonderful those videos were until I chanced upon a whole collection of them on the vid-sharing site, You Tube. In addition to Prince Charming, there's Vive Le Rock, Strip
Stand and Deliver, Dog Eat Dog, Ant Music and lots more fab stuff besides.

Adam here finding that his clothes were getting in the way.
