I'd just graduated and was wondering what on earth I'd do next. I ended up (bizarrely) working as a market research executive for a year. It wasn't really me, though. Which is why I quit and became a pop music journalist. Anyway, in the UK this was the song that I was singing in August 1980. It went to the UK Number One stop on the 9th of August. Enjoy!
